Sanctions for political parties issued

Sarajevo, 06.12.2017 – Based on the Report on audit of financial reports of political parties for 2015 the BiH CEC has today due to violation of the Law on political party financing sanctioned 18 political parties, while 5 political parties received an administrative measure of ineligibility to stand at the next elections.

 

               Pecuniary fines were pronounced to following political parties:

 

1. Democratic Front – 600 KM

2. Democratic Party Dragan Čavić - 500 KM

3. Democratic People’s Alliance - 1.500 KM

4. Croatian Democratic Union 1990- 2.500 KM

5. Croatian Party of Rights BiH- 2.000 KM

6. Communist Party- 1.000 KM

7. Liberal Democratic Party of BiH - 1.000 KM

8. Party of Democratic Progress - 1.050 KM

9. Alliance of Independent Social Democrats - 3.900 KM

10. Alliance for better future BiH– Fahrudin Radončić - 3.000 KM

11. Serb Democratic Party - 2.000 KM

12. Serb Radical Party of RS - 1.500 KM

13. Party of Democratic Action - 3.000 KM

14. Party of Democratic Activity – 2.500 KM

15. Party of Diaspora BiH- 1.500 KM

16. Party of Justice and Trust- 500 KM

17. Party of United Independent Democrats BiH- 900 KM

18. Party for BiH - 1.000 KM

 

                  Administrative measure of ineligibility to stand at the next elections (2018 General Elections) due to failure to submit financial report and due to hindering access to party’s premises for control of financial parties, is pronounced to the following parties:

2.  Democrats of BiH

3.  Serb Renewal Movement

4.  Party of Just Politics

5.  Visionary Democratic Party

 

             Report on audit of financial reports of political parties for 2015 based on which sanctions were pronounced are available on the BiH CEC’s website, www.izbori.ba . Decisions on sanctions passed today are valid and can be appealed before the Appellate Division of the Court of BiH within 15 days following receipt of the decision.
