APPLICATIONS FOR CERTIFICATION OF COALITIONS AND LISTS OF INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES
Sarajevo, June 24, 2014 – Today at 16:00 hours expires the deadline for submitting applications for certification of coalitions and lists of independent candidates to participate in the 2014 General Elections. The BiH Central Election Commission has received 24 applications for certification of coalitions. There were no applications for certification of lists of independent candidates.

In accordance with the Instruction on deadlines and sequence of electoral activities the BiH Central Election Commission will finish verification process by July 1, 2014 and will certify coalitions that meet the conditions set forth by the Law. We reiterate that the deadline for submitting candidates’ list starts on July 2 and will last until July 14, 2014.
