RESULTS OF ELECTIONS IN EAST DRVAR, DOMALJEVAC/ŠAMAC AND STANARI CONFIRMED
Sarajevo, February 19, 2015 – The BiH Central Election Commission has today confirmed the results of early elections for mayor of East Drvar municipality and mayor of Domaljevac/Šamac municipality, as well as the results of first elections for mayor and councilors in Municipal Assembly of Stanari municipality, which were held on February 1, 2015.
According to the confirmed results Ivanković Milka (Homeland Social Democrats – Mile Marčeta) is elected mayor of East Drvar Municipality, Jurkić Mario (HDZ 1990) is elected mayor of Domaljevac/Šamac municipality and Panić Dušan (Alliance of independent social democrats - SNSD-Milorad Dodik) is elected mayor of Stanari municipality.
The voters in Stanari municipality also for the first time elected the councilors in the Stanari Municipal Assembly.

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH CEC) in cooperation with the Association of Election Officials in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AEOBiH) organizes the Conference “General Elections 2014 – Lessons learned” that will be held in Teslić from March 19 to March 21, 2015. Hereby we would like to invite members of the election administration in BiH to register their participation in this conference, and at the same time we urge the municipal/city bodies of authority to provide funds for participation of the members of municipal/city election commission at this conference.
The purpose of the Conference is to analyze the 2014 General Election, summarize the conclusions and to formulate proposals to improve the entire electoral process. Besides the members of the BiH Central Election Commission, the employees of the BiH CEC Secretariat, election administration and members of the AEOBiH the Conference will bring together representatives of political parties, non-government organizations and domestic and international electoral experts.
