SANCTIONS

Sarajevo, August 13, 2015 – The BiH Central Election Commission has today in line with Article 19.9, paragraph (4) of the BiH Electoral Code, and due to failure to submit the asset declaration forms when applying to participate at the 2014 General Elections pronounced fines in the amount of 1000 KM to each of the following candidates Josip Mlakić, Zdenko Dominović and Marzela Podgorica Turulja, candidates of the political subject Power of BiH -HSP BiH-DSI for the House of Representatives of the BiH Federation Parliament.

Following completion of the procedure to determine responsibility the BiH Central Election Commission pronounced sanctions to the president and members of the PSC at the polling station 029B055 in basic constituency Bijeljina for not accurately determine the number of valid and invalid ballots on the day of 2014 General Elections. Apart from the four year ineligibility to work in the election management bodies, the BiH CEC also pronounced a fine in the amount of 300 KM to the president of the polling station committee Dragan Ilić, and a fine in the amount of 200 KM to the members Aleksandar Jelisić, Darko Šerfezi, Jovica Spasojevića and Vasilija Kosanović respectively.

Today’s decision are not valid, and an appeal can be filed with the Appellate division of the BiH Court within two days following receipt of the decision.
