REGISTRATION OF POLITICAL SUBJECTS FOR THE 2016 LOCAL ELECTIONS
Sarajevo, May 20, 2016 – In line with the Instruction on deadlines and sequence of electoral activities for the 2016 Local Election the deadline for submission of application for certification of political parties, independent candidates, associations and groups of citizens for participation in 2016 Local Election ended today, May 20, 2016 at 16:00 hours.
A total of 115 political parties, 322 independent candidates, 6 citizens’ associations and 54 groups of citizens have submitted the application for certification to participate in the elections.
The BiH Central Election Commission will on Monday, May 23, 2015 publish an overview of registered political subjects by constitutencies. The overview will be published on web site www.izbori.ba under link „2016 Local Elections“
