EXPLANATION

Sarajevo, October 18, 2016 – The BiH Central Election Commission has on October 17, 2016 announced established results of the 2016 Local Elections with won mandates.

 

In accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 9.5 of the BiH Election Law a political party, coalition, list of independent candidates and independent candidate cannot participate in the allocation of mandates if they do not win more than 3% of the total number of valid ballots in a constituency.

 

The established results in the tabular overview where it is note that a political subject has won the mandate, and the achieve percentage of valid ballots for that particular constituency is 3,00% it means that the political subject has exceeded 3% threshold, but it is not visible since the percentage of valid ballots that has been published only shows two decimal places after the comma, as it is programmed in the election results application of the Integrated Election Information System (JIIS).
