Sanctions pronounced to political parties

14.5.2020

The BiH Central Election Commission has at 22nd session held on 14th May, 2020 sanctioned 32 political parties for violation of certain provisions of the Law on Political Party Financing based on the Report on complete audit of financial statements of political parties for 2017 (available on web page).

 

The following political subjects are sanctions:

  1. People’s Democratic Movement-Narodni demokratski pokret (87.000 KM)
  2. Croatian Union HKDU-Hrast - Hvatski savez HKDU-Hrast (19.500 KM)
  3. Party of Democratic Action - Stranka demokratske akcije (11.500 KM)
  4. Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina-Stranka za Bosnu i Hercegovinu (8.500 KM)
  5. Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina -Socijaldemokratska partija Bosne i Hercegovine (7.500 KM)
  6. Democratic front -Demokratska fronta (6.500 KM)
  7. Alliance of independent social democrats – SNSD - Savez nezavisnih socijaldemokrata- SNSD  (5.500 KM)
  8. Serb democratic party - Srpska demokratska stranka (5.000 KМ)
  9. Party of Democratic Action- Stranka demokratske aktivnosti (5.000 KM)
  10. Civil Democratic Party BiH- Građanska demokratska stranka BiH (5.000 KM)
  11. Socialist Party - Socijalistička partija (4.000 KM)
  12. Party of Diaspora of BiH - Stranka dijaspore Bosne i Hercegovine (4.000 KM)

The decision on sanctions are not final and binding, and can be appealed before the Appellate Division of the Court of BiH within 15 following receipt of the decision.
