The 2020 Local Elections
Following consideration of the Report on verification of political parties for participation in the 2020 Local Elections in the city of Mostar after removal of shortcomings, the BiH CEC has at 48th (urgent, correspondent) session held on August 18, 2020 certified 12 more political parties, while applications of three political parties were rejected because they failed to eliminate shortcomings after the given deadline.
After the decisions on certification i.e. rejection of political parties’ applications become final and binding the BiH CEC will publish an overview of certified political parties and independent cadnidates to participate in the local elections in the city of Mostar.
The deadline for submission of applications for certification of coalitions and lists of independent candidates to participate in the local elections in the city of Mostar starts running on August 23, 2020 and will last until September 1, 2020 at 16 hours.
Furthermore, the BiH CEC has adopted today the Decision on design of the print screen (tool) for making the watermark for production of paper to be used for printing the ballots for the 2020 Local Elections.
