COVE – Contactless Voting presented
At the request of BiATM Ltd. from Great Britain, a presentation of the COVE - Contactless Voting device was held today at the Central Election Commission of BiH.
COVE - Contactless Voting is a device that serves to prevent irregularities in the electoral process, especially in the part related to voter identification.
Ballots and electronic voter lists with a digital photo of each voter are encrypted and stored on the COVO memory card for identification purposes.
Identification and voting are also provided in places where the Internet is not available. Connecting to the Internet enables automatic transfer of results from the polling station to the municipal / city election commissions and to the integrated information system of the Central Election Commission of BiH.
Today's presentation is just a continuation of the activities and efforts of the Central Election Commission of BiH to apply new technologies in the electoral system of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
