Born on January 23, 1963 in Drinovci- Grude municipality, where he completed elementary school. He completed the general high school in Grude, and graduated from the Mostar Faculty of Law in 1987. He passed the administrative exam in 1988 and the bar exam in 1995.
He spent his working career in the administrative bodies. From 1987 to 1997 he worked with the Ministry of interior in the Sector for legal affairs, human resources and education.
From 1997 to 2013 he worked with the Ministry of education, science, culture and sport of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton as the Assistant to Minister for sport and public relations, and subsequently as the Assistant to Minister for science and high education. Meanwhile, from December 2008 to December 2011 he worked in the Assembly of the Herzegovina-Neretva canton.
On April 29, 2013 he was appointed Deputy Director of the Personal Data Protection Agency in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he worked until his appointment as the member of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He participated in administering all local and general elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1996 to 2004 as the president or the secretary of the Election Commission of the Mostar city municipality – Jugozapad. In 1996 he was president of the Counting Center in the Mostar city municipality – Jugozapad. He was member of the Election commission of the City of Mostar from 2004 to 2006.
He was also the president of the Commission for administering referendum on organization of the City of Mostar in the Mostar city municipality – Jugozapad, held in 2004.
He is member of the Association of Election Officials of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He participated in numerous expert conferences organized by the Association and the BiH Central Election Commission as the moderator of various workshops and in preparation of the election related manuals and publications. As the member of the group for polling station committees’ training and the Committee for education of the Association of Election Officials of BiH he participate in the first independent training of domestic trainers in Zenica in 2002 after all election related activities were handed over to the domestic election bodies by the OSCE. He delivered election observation training in Bosnia and Herzegovina to the representatives of political parties. He delivered multiple training sessions to representatives of the municipal structures in the City of Mostar. As the member of the Association and student of the post-graduate – Master’s study “Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Law” at the Faculty of Law of Mostar University he delivered a lecture on “Approximation to the European Union” to the high school students from BiH in May and June 2006. He participated in the education program for accredited election observers in Bosnia and Herzegovina organized by the Council of Europe in June 2010.
He observed local and general elections held in Austria, Moldavia, Kirgizstan and Bulgaria.
As member of the BiH CEC delegation he participate at the 4. General Assembly of the Association of World Election Bodies (A-WEB) at which the BiH Central Election Commission was elected to the Executive Board of this Association.
In his free time he is active in several sport’s association and unions. He has knowledge of English and French language.
