Sarajevo, 7 November 2024 – After the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a Supplementary Decision on 5 November 2024, determining the results of the Local Elections for the basic constituencies of Jablanica, Kiseljak, Prozor-Rama, Gacko, Foča, Čapljina, Konjic, and the City of Mostar, and upon reviewing the requests for a recount of ballots, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted an Order for the recount of ballots at today's session.
The Main Counting Centre is hereby ordered to conduct a recount of ballots in the basic constituency of Čapljina at polling station 173A018, for the city council level, by political subjects and for invalid ballots.
Candidates and political subjects appearing on the ballot being recounted and whose election results are being determined may be present during the counting process, as well as accredited observers for the Main Counting Centre.
The counting of ballots will be conducted in accordance with the schedule set by the Director of the Main Counting Centre, at the “ZETRA” facility, Alipašina bb, Sarajevo. The public will be informed of the start date of the recount through an announcement by the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
