A multi-day training program for members of municipal/city election commissions started
Bihać, 12.02.2025 – A five-day training course for members of municipal/city election commissions, organized by the Central Election Commission of BiH and the OSCE Mission to BiH, began today. The training is being held in Bihać and will continue in Banja Luka, Tuzla, Mostar, and Sarajevo.
The focus of the training is on implementing the electoral process using new electoral technologies that were introduced through pilot projects in the 2024 Local Elections. These technologies include biometric identification and authentication of voters, optical scanners, and direct transmission of results.
During the training, consultations will also be held on the possibility of reducing the number of polling stations in BiH to comply with the provisions of the Election Law of BiH.
