Early elections for municipal/city mayors of 9 municipalities/cities in BiH to be held on February 17, 2019
Sarajevo, 10.12.2018 – The BiH Central Election Commission has at today’s session passed the Decision on announcing and administering early elections for the city mayor of the City of Dоbој, city mayor of the City of Trebinje, mayor of Grahovo municipality, mayor of Bosanski Petrovac municipality, mayor of Bužim municipality, mayor of Dоmаlјеvаc/Šаmаc municipality, mayor of Drvar Municipality, mayor of Kakanj municipality and mayor of Ribnik municipality.
Elections will be held on Sunday, 17.02.2019.
The Instruction on deadlines of election activities was also adopted today, setting forth that applications for certification of political parties and independent candidates are to be submitted to the BiH CEC no later than 7 days following the day elections are announced, namely in the period from 11.12.2018 to 17.12.2018 by16.00 hours.
The Decision on announcing and administering early elections, the Instruction on deadlines of election activities, relevant forms and other important documents will be made available to the public on the web site of the BiH CEC www.izbori.ba, under link “2019 Early Elections”.
