ADDITIONAL DECISION ON CONFIRMING ELECTION RESULTS PASSED
Sarajevo, November 8, 2012 – The BiH Central Election Commission has at today’s session passed an Additional Decision on confirming the results of 2012 Local Elections. The Decision confirms the election results in constituencies Gradiška (for municipal assembly), Kotor Varoš (for mayor and municipal assembly), Šekovići (for mayor and municipal assembly), Milići (for mayor and municipal assembly) and Banja Luku (City Assembly).
Confirmed results of the elections will be available on the web page of the BiH CEC www.izbori.ba, and published in the Official Gazettes in BiH.
The BiH Central Election Commission has today pronounced a fine in the amount of 10.000 BAM to the political party People’s Party working for betterment. It was established that the People’s Party working for betterment is responsible for violation of the code of conduct in Article 16.14, paragraph (3) of the BiH Election Law in the period from the announcement of elections until the official start of the election campaign.
Considering cases in the area of conflict of interests, the BiH Central Election Commisison today passed 29 opinions and pronounced ssanctions of illegibility to stand for any elected office and/or a fine to 4 persons.
