MOSTAR'S STUDENTS VISITED BIH CEC
Sarajevo, January 23, 2014 – Today the BiH Central Election Commission had the pleasure of welcoming the political science students of the Philosophy Faculty at Mostar University. Dr. Suad Arnautović, member of the BiH Central Election Commission, held a presentation “Basis of election system of Bosnia and Herzegovina”. In this way the students, along with theoretic knowledge, had the opportunity to acquire first-hand knowledge on important aspects of the legal concept of the election system and its functioning in BiH.
This has been a great opportunity for the BiH Central Election Commission to make its contribution to promoting the initiative to mark the Global Elections Day first Thursday in February. Today’s presentation was an introduction to the event that the BiH Central Election Commission will organize on Thursday, February 2, 2014 under the motto: “Increasing participation of young people and women in democratic processes through elections”.
