SANCTIONS

Sarajevo, December 08, 2016 – In line with the findings of the audit of political parties’ 2014 financial statements the BiH Central Election Commission has at today’s session pronounced pecuniary fines to 12 political parties for violation of certain provisions of the Law on political party financing.

 

Pecuniary fines are pronounced to following political subjects:

1.     BOSS-Bosnian party-Mirnes Ajanović 5.000 KM

2.     BiH People’s Party 1.000 KM

3.     BiH Patriot Party -Sefer Halilović 1.000 KM

4.     Democratic People’s Union 10.500 KM

5.     Croat People’s Alliance 1.500 KM

6.     Croat party of rights Dr. Ante Starčević 500 KM

7.     Communist Party 1.000 KM

8.     Movement for our city 1.000 KM

9.     Regional democratic alliance Tuzla 500 KM

10.                        Peasant Party 500 KM

11.                        Party of European social democracy 62.100 KM

12.                        Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina 4.700 KM

 

The BiH CEC pronounced administrative measures of illegibility to participate in the next elections to 13 political parties due to the failure to file 2014 financial statements. The parties are; BH free social democrats, Ecological Party E-5 Green, Croat People’s Alliance, Croat People’s alliance 1908, New civic initiative – Kozarac, the Party of right way, Party of social justice, Party of social and economic justice, Political organization Independent List – For my city, United People’s Party, Serb movement of Republika Srpska reconstruction, Party of fair politics and Union of social democrat s- Union for all of us.

 

In a repeated procedure, the BiH CEC pronounced today a pecuniary fine in the amount of 5.000 KM to the BiH patriot party Sefer Halilović. It was determined that the president of aforementioned political party had at a pre-election rely held on September 26, 2016 used language that could incite or provoke violence or spread of hatred.

 

The BiH Central Election Commission has at today’s session certified six (6) candidates’ lists with 21 candidate from the Municipal Assembly Sokolac for election of councilors to the East Sarajevo City Assembly.
