Training of the newly-appointment members of the municipal/city election commissions
Sarajevo, 23.10.2019 – The BiH Central Election Commission has today in its Center for Education in Sarajevo organized a training for the members of municipal/city election commissions appointed since confirmation of the results of the 2018 General Elections, whose appointment was approved by the BiH CEC.
Education is regular activity of the BiH Central Election Commission prescribed by the BiH Election Law and presence of members of the election commissions of basic constituencies is mandatory.
Topics of today’s training session were: competence of election commissions, conduct of elections and timeline, Central Voters’ Register and protection of electoral right.
A total of 28 newly-appointment members of municipal/city election commissions from 18 municipalities/cities attended the training.
