Instruction on coordination and monitoring of repeated elections in Doboj and Srebrenica adopted
Article 2.9, paragraph (1), point 1 of the Election Law of BiH stipulates that the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina coordinates, monitors and regulates the legality of the work of all election commissions and polling stations in accordance with the Election Law of BiH.
Thus, the Central Election Commission of BiH has at 21st session held on February 11, 2021 adopted the Instruction on the application of Article 2.9 paragraph (1) point 1 of the Election Law of BiH.
The adopted instruction regulates the procedure of coordination and monitoring of repeated elections in the basic constituencies of Doboj and Srebrenica, which will be held on February 21, 2021, by supervisors accredited and authorized on behalf of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The rights, obligations and actions of the supervisors to monitoring the work of the municipal/city election commission and polling stations in Doboj and Srebrenica have been specified.
The Code of Conduct for Supervisors is an integral part of the instruction.
Instructions on the application of Article 2.9 paragraph (1) point 1 of the Election Law of BiH will be available to the public by the end of the day on the website of the Central Election Commission of BiH, www.izbori.ba.
Today, the Central Election Commission of BiH made relevant decisions establishing the Main Counting Center, appointing the management of the Main Counting Center, appointing the Chief Controller, Deputy Chief Controller, controller for processing, entering and confirming voting results and controller for transport, handling and storage of ballots and other polling material at the repeated elections in Doboj and Srebrenica.
