The repeated procurement process for printing and packaging ballot papers for the 2024 local elections has been initiated.

Sarajevo, 07.06.2024– After the decision to annul the public procurement procedure for printing and packaging ballots for the 2024 Local Elections became final, the Central Election Commission of BiH has, at its 30th session today, adopted a new Decision regarding the procurement of printing and packaging ballots for the 2024 Local Elections (repeated procurement procedure).

The estimated value of the procurement is approximately 1.370.000 KM without VAT, or approximately 1.600.000 KM with VAT for the conclusion of the framework agreement. The contract for the printing of ballots for the 2024 local elections will be concluded based on this framework agreement, valued at 1.282.000 KM without VAT, or 1.500.000 KM with VAT and it will be done by using the negotiation procedure without publication of a procurement notice, in accordance with Article 21, paragraph (1) point a) of the Public Procurement Law. This is due to the fact that no offers were submitted by the deadline in the open procedure. The requirements compared to the previous procedure have remained the same.

 

The procurement value for the printing and packaging ballots for the 2024 Local Elections has increased by approximately 250.000 KM.
