The Central Election Commission of BiH Launches Voter Education Campaign

Sarajevo 28 August 2024 - The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has launched an educational campaign aimed at voters across the country. The first event, titled "A Step Closer to Better Understanding Elections: Voting Simulation for Women," was held in Banja Luka for members of women’s associations within the city.

This simulation was organized to provide a practical demonstration of recent legislative changes in the voting process and to encourage participants to engage more actively in the electoral process.

The voter education campaign will continue in Bijeljina, Mostar, and Sarajevo, targeting various groups with the objective of making the electoral process more accessible to all citizens. The Central Election Commission of BiH places particular emphasis on marginalized groups, including the Roma community, individuals with disabilities, women from vulnerable categories, and young people, with the aim of further involving and motivating them to participate actively in the elections.

In addition to field activities, the Central Election Commission of BiH will provide educational video materials, infographics, and other visual content on its social media platforms, which will be beneficial to citizens both within and outside Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This campaign is conducted with the support of the OSCE Mission and USAID-a.
